* Eduard Pulpe was credited with five confirmed aerial victories while flying with the French ''Aéronautique Militaire'' and the Imperial Russian Air Service during World War I〔Durkota et al 1995, p. 475.〕
Additionally, two other Latvian pilots are reputed to have become aces.
* Lieutenant Peteris Eduard M. Tomson, tentatively credited with 11 victories though apparently he scored some or all of his victories while flying for Latvian insurgent forces during 1919.〔 Itemized list of one confirmed and four unconfirmed victories exists.〔Durkota et al 1995, p. 484.〕
* Olgerdis I. Teteris (alias O. J. Teter or Olgerts Teteris), tentatively credited with six victories during World War I.〔 Itemized list of two confirmed victories exists.〔Durkota et al 1995, p. 483.〕
